Recycled by Dan is our first big step in becoming a more ecologically-sound brand. The shirt is made from 60% recycled cotton and 40% polyester with corozo nut buttons. The cloth is a heavier-weight and appropriate for 3 seasons (Fall - Spring), with a slight nep due to the recycled fibers. After more than a year of research and development, we were able to mill and sew a fully-recycled shirt without sacrificing design, fit or handfeel quality - this feels as good if not better than a regular virgin cotton shirt. The cotton is recycled from cotton scraps at the fiber stage, then re-spun and loomed to create something new and maybe even better this time around. The shirt is made in India with our longtime partners, who are both socially and environmentally focused and certified.
